The Wiregrass Birth Network is committed to helping women and families have a safe & fulfilling pregnancy and birth experience. Our goal is to empower women in their roles as health care consumers. We promote an awareness of evidence-based care and informed decision making through advocacy, education and support. Our organization promotes the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative. We are also in alignment with the Lamaze Six Care Practices that Support Normal Birth. Wiregrass Conscious Parenting Wiregrass Conscious Parenting is open to anyone in the area with an interest in natural or alter...native family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, parenting and health practices. We offer monthly educational meetings in Southeast Alabama and a baby carrier lending library. |
